How much people charge for their services is a topic often shrouded in secrecy, especially here in the UK. Fundamentally it’s proclaiming “this is how much I think I’m worth“, and culturally this can be uncomfortable territory for many of us.

Given that I work as Clear Meetings, you might not be surprised to know that I relish clarity, and money is no exception. Quite simply I think being open makes life easier for everyone.

So how much do I charge?
Well, it depends…

My work ranges from pro-bono (for incredible causes striving to change the world), to tens of thousands of pounds for long term strategic initiatives with large teams.  Smaller scale projects often fall in the £2.5-12k range.

I work with some of my clients on a retained basis, whilst others have shorter term needs spanning hours, days or months. The cost depends on the nature of the project, the complexity of the brief, and the work involved.

It’s about ethos
I’ve had clients pay me in money, equity and pizza. My ethos is help you get to where you need to be, in a way that is equitable and rewarding for the outcomes sought. Yes, that is usually about money, but there are occasionally times where it’s not the be-all and end-all.

So whether you’re an established business, a thriving start-up, or incredible cause striving to change the world – let’s start with what you need to achieve and see where we go from there. Get in touch if you’d like to explore.
